Liberatory Coaching
Inner work that transforms how you lead and live.
Liberatory coaching is about leading from wholeness. It’s not about fixing or optimizing. It’s about doing the inner work to reconnect you to who you are, who you come from, and what you are here to serve.
You bring your goals and the places where you feel stuck in your life and leadership. I bring presence and spaciousness, along with tools to help us listen across layers. Together, we pay attention not only to what the mind knows, but also to what lives in the body and in the emotions just beneath the surface. You reconnect with the wisdom inherited from your ancestors to deepen and stabilize your sense of self. You tune in to what your life and work are asking of you now.
I love the metaphor of nourishment and the table. Food sustains life, and it also teaches us how to be in relationship with a wider system. True nourishment restores and strengthens. It allows you to meet your growth edge, access your creativity, and lead from a place of grounded capacity and abundance rather than depletion or scarcity.
Liberatory coaching fills you up from the inside out. When you are nourished from within, you don’t only feel better, you lead differently. This is my invitation to come be nourished, and step fully into your power.

What topics can I bring to coaching?
You can bring anything that feels alive, stuck, or important. Here are some examples of what that might include:
Finding your leadership voice and inner confidence
Healing from perfectionism and people-pleasing
Navigating life and career transitions with intention
Working with interpersonal conflict
Managing stress and overwhelm
Being with grief and loss
Setting boundaries and reclaiming your time
Reconnecting with creativity and joy
Living a life rooted in your values, truth, and liberation
As coach I will:
Accept wholeheartedly where you are at and create a coaching container of dignified presence.
Support you to clarify your needs and values.
Guide you to notice and name limiting voices and patterns.
Lean into abundance and trust that you will bring the answers to your issues and as coach I do not have to fix anyone or anything. Instead of giving you advice, I will help guide you to find your answers. You know what’s most important.
Ask thought-provoking questions to make meaning, deepen awareness, inspire hope, and open up the field of choice.
Co-create action steps after each session, make requests, and hold you accountable to your commitments to Self.
As coach partner* you will:
Develop your goals for coaching and define what success looks like.
Be willing to be transformed in service of your goals.
Be at choice and have full agency to set the boundaries; going as deep as you want to go.
Recognize me as a coach and not a consultant (to give advice and strategize) or therapist. While coaching has therapeutic benefits and connects to past experiences, it is forward focused.
Co-create action steps after each session and respond to requests.
(*Rather than using the term client, liberatory coaches opt for the term "coach partner" to emphasize the reciprocity of the coaching relationship and address the power dynamics that come from the white supremacist cultural positioning of the coach as an expert.)
My Divine Audience
The people I most want to support are those who are consciously walking the path toward our collective liberation. People who are actively unlearning, reimagining, and co-creating in the cracks of dominant systems. What connects us is not a single role or identity, but our shared purpose to cultivate liberation as a daily relational practice.
Whether you are an institutional leader trying to shift culture from within, an entrepreneur building with integrity, an organizer weaving movements, a student questioning with curiosity, a caregiver doing sacred labour, a teacher, a creative… I offer a grounded mirror and a steady hand for the journey.
Liberatory Coaching Certification
My professional coaching certification is from Coaching for Healing Justice and Liberation. This program is for BIPOC social justice movement leaders committed to learning coaching skills for individual and collective liberation. It is the only offering of its kind rooted in ancestral wisdom, radical love, and the belief that another world is not only possible but already being born. The program helped me deepen the coaching skills that I have been practicing in my leadership roles for the past 15 years, and supported me to do so much inner healing work which has enabled me to coach at a much deeper level.
In their words…
Understanding Self Leadership
We carry many parts within us, each holding different perspectives and memories. Some of these parts know each other well, while others live in isolation, unheard or unseen. Fear, Shame, Perfectionism, our Inner Critic… these are not flaws, they are our humanity.
Your capital “S” Self is your inner divine essence. The YOU beyond your name, beyond your roles, beyond any one story. Self is calm, clear, creative and compassionate. Self is the steady presence that connects you to source energy and inner wisdom.
Following the lineage of Internal Family Systems (IFS), the heart of liberatory coaching is inviting Self to lead. Parts grab our attention; Self needs to be invited. From your grounded centre, you can meet your parts, not to fix them, but to listen, love, and understand their good intentions. This is not about managing or optimizing your inner world. It’s about opening a portal to deeper belonging within yourself and with the wider field of life. As you learn to be with your parts from Self, you create healing pathways towards liberation and return to the truth that you are already whole, already enough.
“Remember, you will never know who you are in your spirit by attempting to be above your humanness. It is always through your humanness that you truly know your spirit. ”
