About me
At the heart of my life and work is a deep commitment to nourishing people through practices rooted in love, justice, and collective liberation.
I’ve held leadership roles across start-ups, nonprofits, and municipal government, always with a commitment to fostering healthier, more creative, and relationally alive workplaces. I hold an MBA from the University of British Columbia with a focus on Human Resources and Organizational Development and my early studies in architecture and graphic design enabled me to see how beauty and aesthetics shape experience. Whether I’m hosting a gathering at home or facilitating meaningful dialogue at work, I approach each moment as an act of love and invitation for collective presence. Each space I am a part of is a chance to practice the kind of world I long for—one that is joyful, rooted in pleasure, grounded in connection to Self, and where we nurture good relationships with one another.
I’m a South Asian, cis-gendered woman, mother, and daughter of Gujarati refugees who fled Uganda and were able to make a home on the unceded lands of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Peoples (so-called Vancouver, Canada). I’m on an ongoing journey to be in right relations here, unlearning anti-Indigenous racism, reckoning with the privileges of my family’s settlement, and stepping into deeper allyship, so that my presence, and that of future generations in my lineage is responsible and rooted in reciprocity.
Learning as a form of Leadership
